ticking noise when pushing accelerating

i kinda scraped my stock downpipe on uneven road and now there is a slight ticking sound when i step on the gas.... my question is should i just take it to a muffler shop and have them weld/remold it?

Sounds like you knocked something loose and cracked it, or its hitting something else due to the exhaust vibration during acceleration. Don't wait too long to take it in, but try to identify where its coming from first. Otherwise they may tell you all kinds of BS.

You probably scraped something else, its pretty damn near impossible to scrape your Y-pipe unless you were turning over on a tree trunk or something. Check your rear sub-frame I scraped mine all the time.

I also noticed you said downpipe and that IS impossible on a 3.5
