ticking noise when i step on gas pedel

i recently lowered the front of my car, 98 kouki, with some skunk 2 lowering springs. but just today im starting to hear a ticking noise when i step on the accelerator pedal. im woundering if that has something to does with me lowering the car or if it is something with the engine.

might check for exhaust leaks somewhere, although i don't see how lowering your car would have caused that. Maybe you didn't notice before?

where is the noise from?you need to be a little more specific since i am sure that it is a easy fix...

its coming from the driver side of the car, sound like its coming from the wheel well, but its only when i step on the gas

Check for a loose nut or bolt.

yea i did all that, no loose bolt or nut, but the noise is still there. dont know what it could be, someone plz help

I have that same noise only when you step on the accelerator right? I'm thinking it's a bad exhaust gasket or some kind of exhaust leak.

Sounds like an exhaust leak at the manifold somewhere, aiv tube if equiped, egr tube or egr transducer hose exhaust side if equiped etc. Hope this helps good luck.
