This ticking noise stays on after I turn off the car and take the key out of the ignition. It will only stop ticking after I disconnect the neg. terminal from the battery. If I dont disconnect the battery and let the ticking noise continue, it will eventually kill my battery. The noise is ticking somewhere around the back of the engine, but it can be trace to the relay box#2(the one in the front left of the engine) it looks like the EGI relay its ticking.any suggestions?thanks

my KA24de did that before.....PISSED me off....it is the EGI relay and if u replace it the new one will do it too.....do u have a vented hood? I think ine did it when it got wet when i had my vented hood on. if so get an oem hood......mine only seemed to do it when it rained hard or for a long time....

I have an OEM hood. Someone suggested that replacing it will take care of the problem. Guess I'll try to replace it first. Did you ever fix yours?
