ticking fron engine?help!

here's my problem guys, i just got my car running after two months because of a carrier bearing for the driveshaft was crap, so i replaced it and my car drives again, yay! but now i have a new problem, i hear this ticking from my engin bay when i'm in my car driving it goes away at about 3k-4k, when i pop the hood and leaving the car running i have to put my ear up to the head and it sounds like it's the valves but i'm not sure, the ticking gets really loud from idle to 2.5k up to 3k and then goes away, i recently just did 2 of the 3 steps of seafoam treatment, could it be that? any help would be appreciated

Did you change the oil since it was parked. The noise is probably from it sitting for so long. I would change the oil. But if you have already it should go away after you drive it for a while.

no i haven't replaced my oil yet because i'm waiting for all of my gas to finish, just complying to the way someone did the seafoam treatment, once all the gas is gone i'm gonna change the oil and fill it up with new fuel, and then the brake booster treatment part of the seafoam, oh well just have to see, thanks red

actually the funny thing is that my timing chain does rattle at about 4 rpm when i just rev i, but no when i'm driving normally, but now i can't even hear my timing chain anymore because i can hear this ticking even while i'm driving on the highway at 60-70 mph with the window half down. i have a feeling this motors gonna go to engine heaven soon, hopefully not too soon though,

have you checked the oil level? Sometimes the valvetrain ticks when the oil is low.

yea the oil level is fine and the colors darker than it used to be (duh) but not dark enough and it's not burning oil.
