ticking and vibrating????

i installed my S14 v-lsd in my S13 and now at low speeds the driveshaft and transmission vibrate real bad, and there is a ticking noise that sounds like its coming from the driveshaft. please help?

if your driveshaft is not ballanced it will shake the **** out of your car. the driveshaft could of come out of a wrecked s13 and was slightly warped. make sure it is installed properly and that the driveshaft actually fits your car. you also may want to check to make sure that the fluid in the vlsd is full.

the fluid is full and the drivshaft is good it diddnt start vibrating untill i installed the vlsd? the driveshaft was easy to come out but i kinda had 2 force it in?

Its gripping more so it will shake a bit at very low rpms.

Ive got an s14 vlsd in my car. It grips nicely. What year did you get?

You probably should disconnect the diff flange again and rotate the driveshaft 180 degrees. They are balanced as stated above and must be bolted on in the correct way.

its a 96 vlsd and it shakes at low speeds not low rpm, and thank you ill try to rotate the drive shaft and c thanks
