Is it just me, or do most people with exhausts get pulled over more at night than in day. I've gotten a ticket at night, and my 5 friends have done the same. But in the daytime we never would get pulled over. Maybe it's just because daytime has more things cops look out for rather than pulling someone over for an illegal exhaust. Since at night, not as much people are on the road, and there's less distractions, and cops focus more on little things, i think?? haha give me your thoughts!

Around here, they don't really give out too many tickets for modded cars, but I just got my car back today and a cop followed me around for like 2 miles, I freaked out. I guess when he realized I wasn't going to speed he just got in a different lane and turned at the next light.

my friend bought a talon with a apexi muffler, within two weeks he got pulled over 4 times for the noise, and they were all at night also.

I have yet to get pulled over but I know how they can be at night. I'm still waiting for my time. I know it's coming. But I'm watching my back like a horse jocky locked up in prison.

yea i know... it's scary too, just waiting to get pulled over, haha, my car's loud as hell too, i almost got the same mods you have.... but I put on my silencer at all times when i'm driving, i only take it out if i want to show off hahaha... i really can't believe there's a law prohibiting the loudness of exhausts. it seems unreasonable, when you have domestics who are twice as loud, and you have SUV's with thumping systems that rattle everything in it's way... i hate CALI

Not to mention the harleys that are TWICE as loud as any exhaust ive ever heard on a car...

durring the day there more traffice to hide the noise, at nite there less people and stuff going on so it quiter out side.

Most places have different noise level requirements for day, night, and even locations. I live in Reno. Around here, they have signs for trucks saying "No engine breaks" in residential areas. If they don't allow this, you can bet they'll hate a loud exhaust or sound system.

surprisingly, the gt spec aint all that loud even with the huge piping. it drones a little louder than stock exhaust but isn't nearly as bad as the n1 duals i had on my old 240. with the n1 duals on an n/a ka... cops are just DIEING to pull you over.

i avoid cops at all costs. if i see one i take a side street, or go excessively slow if on the hiway and wait for them to pass. with 10 points and being pulled over a good 8-9 times over the last year... you learn
