It's more than that.

Before I get to my Q, I'd just like to throw a big thanks out to Mark Zana. For being there when there is no one else. You ARE the definition of a good man. Thanks Mark.

To my Q...

To those of you who don't know the story... I purchased a Q in Vegas off a relative of mine. The relative ended up leaving, the Q stayed at the house which the business paid for. The person running the business while my relative was away had a son. The son moved into the house for the sake of economics. All basic living expenses paid for by the business as a gift. Son begins driving relatives cars. Son crashes a lincoln towncar into a post. Mom totals a LeBaron Turbo GT. Son begins driving my bimmer. Drives it into and through the ground... and also boosts the car backwards, frying every electrical circuit in it. Son begins driving my Q45. Son leaves Q45 sitting outside in Las Vegas summer. Son doesn't maintain Q45. Son seizes motor by driving the car without oil in it mid summer. I go down there last summer (planned to pick up the Q45... then the motor seized, picked up the bimmer and found out the shape it was in then). When I get down there I see the Q at Ernesto's. The car was in rough shape compared to when I last saw it. When I saw the Q a year before, it had three problems. #1. The active suspension system needed work. #2. The drivers side seat boulster needed new leather put on it. #3. The car was missing a center cap to one of the BBS wheels. When I saw the Q last summer, it was in bad shape...

You can't compare any of that to the car now... Look for yourself...

I think my pot's boiling over...

Corey

I always did have a certain fondness for that bamboo whipping thing in Singapore. Would solve a lot of problems with young men acting like little boys. Just cane their naked butts in public - poof, no more troubles.

Whoa. What a POS.

I was wondering about all that, as the story seemed to drift in.

How old is this "son" with no respect for anyone else or their property?Caning is too good (but a good start), a shattered kneecap is a permanent reminder.

Yeah, I'm with you on this. Dude, I would probably end up in jail, that's all I'm gonna say.

I'm very sorry man, that would ruin many days for me, and I really feel for you. There's got to be a way to make that fool pay.

Sorry to hear Corey. At least tell us some justice will come of this so we may sleep better at night.

Well, quite possibly one of the "good parts" to this story is that not only did he get me good, but he also got my relative. He's tried to forge more than a few checks actually and got caught in the act on it a couple of weeks ago. Since then he's fled the state... didn't show up for trial and now there's a bench warrant out for his arrest. Also, we have two other forgery charges on him as well as a mail tampering charge (which is a federal offence) and extortion.

Playing Vice City with someone else's money may be fun, but lets see how fun a few years in jail goes over.

If I saw this guy again I WOULD leave him with a permanent reminder of his younger days.

Corey

P.S. He's in his mid 20s.

Not once and catch this. As soon as I found out he was driving my Q I told him to feck off. That car was out of bounds. He said sorry and all that BS. Promised never to touch it again, etc... a month later he tells me he was just driving it to the post office when... you know the rest.

You haven't even heard the least of this POS.

MiniMan,

From the outside looking in this guy sounds like a Methhead (i.e. methamphetamine addict). I'm going to guess that he was really under weight. Having been in the business of taking apart meth labs for 4.5 years as a forensic chemist in Kansas City, MO (Missouri has led the nation in meth labs for several years) I was able to observe the behavior and lifestyle of meth addicts. Check forgery, wrecking cars, etc.....

All sounds too familiar. And in Vegas, which also has a huge meth problem!!! I'm in Tucson now and see very much the same going on down here.

It sounds like to me that the business allowed the "Son" to have access to your vehicles. Therefore, the business should be paying for the damages!!!

I couldn't find a really skinny Icon with a lightbulb shoved in it's mouth while holding a microtorch to it!!!

http://www.nkhwworkshop.com/po....html

METH = White trash drug of choice = Trashing a Q45

Be glad you didn't find a Meth lab in the back seat. I've seen that, but usually in a beat down '73 Nova or rusted out P/U, never in something so nice as a Q, and usually on fire, occasionally while occupied.

Who would think the fried remains of the bottom of a methhead's foot would smell like a grilled Itallian sausage.

These people frustrate me!!!

Rant over,

Matt

Find out where he is, then post his location on NICO. Then we can schedule a NICO BEAT in that location.

I believe good things happen to good people, and bad things will happen to bad people.

Sometimes you just have to "HELP" bad things happen to bad people.

Oh, man Corey...

I am SO sorry to hear all this.

I'm down for an arse-whuppin' party.

Make sure you post up some info, like a name, last known address, and any AKA's so the whole board can be on the lookout.

Heath,

Yes, I suppose it is, but at the time we found it to be quite funny. Gallows humor I guess. If you don't laugh you'll puke!

Did make for an interesting 4.5 years of work.

I still contend that the only person stupid enough to trash a sweet Q has to be a methhead.

If he were to lock himself in his car with his meth lab and torch it up, perhaps all that would be left is the bottom of his foot. A fittingly bad thin to happen to a bad person.

Matt, I think you've hit the nail on the head there... He at one point in time did have a meth problem, he spent some time in jail and supposedly went clean. Looks like he wasn't as clean as his mom made it look.

His name's Derrell Carriger. We figure he's in California with his Dad right now but I'll post up when I hear more.

Thanks again guys for all your support.

Dude,

What an awful story, it even looks like the car is hanging 1/2 out of the garage, so they close the garage door on it at night.

Little basturds, no respect for their own property, needless to mention others.

HD, that's Mark Zana's friend's garage . The car was towed there for Mark and his friend to do the resto work haha!

Latest updates:

Derrell's mom rented a uhaul truck for a *day* to move all of her stuff with about a week ago. Derrell said he'd take care of it. The truck hasn't been returned yet. We think he may be pawning off his mom's stuff to support his drug addiction.

Worse news, his mom looked at her chequing account today. Derrell deposited a forged cheque for $5k. Then withdrew it. He just got his mom good... The master of disaster has struck again.

In other news, the Q45a is just about sold and out of my life. What a terribly brutal investment it's been. If that fu*ked up kid didn't get to it, it'd still be on the road and in the shape it was when I got it... so much frustration.

I can't wait til this guy's past catches up with him. Better, I can't wait 'til he effs with the wrong person...

Tan/brown leather interior not white.

lol It is in the garage now. Very tight fit though. Less than 2 inches between front bumper & garage door.

Gotta feel for Corey on this. The guy trashed the car. He needs to be caught, convicted & jailed with a 300lb roomie named bubba!

Well, if your talking about the old one for rebuild, you're going to have to talk to Mark about it. But if you're talking about the brand new in crate motor sitting in California, it's definitely available and I'm open to offers on it!

I am now the proud owner of it & I am going to part out the Q. It pains me to part it out but it would cost much more to fix everything than it would be worth. Tell me what you want & make me an offer.
