Hey, I know its just a Hundai, but I still beat it! It was one of those 2002 or 3 tiberon gts. I had them off the line then it caught me for a second, but I pulled away at the top end of third. I didn't make it much farther than the Hundais front bumper touching my rear, but I was still amazed that I could beat the brand new car. After that the driver got mad and did the "slam on the brakes and hit a side street in an attempt to look hard" maneuver. Still, nothing beats the ricer fly-by. I got one of those from a prelude who built up massive speed from a distance, pulled beside me gave me the I'm a hard *** look while reving his car and then flew off into the sunset bombarding me with farts in the process.

LOL maybe if that Tiburon was turboe'd or supa' charged lol but come on now..it's practically brand new so not much mod's are out for it...but...it IS a hyundai...Inline 4 cylinder, 134-horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 132 lb-ft torque at 4,500 rpm. Optional 2.7-liter Dual Overhead Cam V6 with 170-horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 181 lb.-ft. torque at 4,000 rpm

but that's the 2003 :D I like the 240 better though

Dude they're not all that bad of cars. Yeah people associate Hyundai with budget cars and not performance cars but hey not everyone's got cash or might not want a used one. Pretty good bang for the buck though.

It had the v6. but theyre nice cars, definitely the way to go for bang for the buck, I agree with 180fan there.. I thought I didn't really had a chance with the thing. My neighbour has one, hes always reving it and ****, but now I know I can take him. I wouldn't mind getting one of those though.

OMG, i forgot, but last year or two years ago, did anyone read issure of Sport Compact Car about that AWD TWO that's right TWO engine tiburon for the ultimate street car issue? Has an engine up front for the front wheels and another in the back for the rear. It's an auto with two trannies, wonder what that's like... I swear I'm not making this up.

The tib never came in AWD in canada or the us but you can put the drive train in from a talon or eclipse. we just finished putting a talon drive train into my brother's 94 elantra. everything just bolted right up almost nothing needed to be changed on the wiring side & now it's fast as hell.
