Hello everyone and happy thanksgiving 🍁

After seeing a few peoples prides and joys blow or have the scare of overboost with rubber Vaccum lines. I’ve decided to make some braided wastegate lines for my car. Now with that said I can’t find anywhere on the size of the tial mvr air ports

Some say it’s 1/8 npt and some say it isn’t. I can say for sure it isn’t cause I tried putting a 1/8 npt fitting in mine today. Fits too snug and if I go any further I know it’ll mess the threads up.

Any one have any ideas what the exact size it is or a link someone can drop ?

Thank you guys

Depends on the age of the gate.

The older ones used a 10mm x 1.0 thread pitch, the newer ones went over to an 1/8 NPT so, technically everyone is right. The MVR 44s are I believe all 10mm x 1.0.

This (or something like it) should get you taken care of if you're after a 90 degree turn as well; >Link<
