Have you guys ever heard how the Tial 50mm Blow Off Valve sounds like? And is it a good blow off valve? Or should i just buy the Blits BOV?

Tial make's good BOV's. Most of em are just kind of a woosh of air I think. Don't get the blitz, please. Get the HKS SSQ if you dont get the Tial.

Yes DaveEEE, why don't you like the Blitz? I have the DD and it works great. Opens up quick when I lift my foot and closes up quick when I floor it again.

Back to subject, never heard of the Tial 50mm BOV. But if it's anything as good as the WGs, then I wouldn't have any troubles putting it in my car. And the price doesn't seem to be that bad.

blitz blow off valves are notorious for leaking.

go here to here the different blow off valve sound clips.

But I thought most of those issues where with the Super Sound BOV by Blitz. Since the DD has a similar setup as the HKS SSQ, although not really a super sequential, then leaking shouldn't be an issue. Although I still have idle issues, but I don't think I have a BOV leak... anyway, it's recirced so it shouldn't matter, should it?

since no one i know uses any of the blitz bovs anymore (too many bad experiences), i can't really comment on the DD. i have heard that the DD is just a modified SS, but that may just be heresay.

imo, the hks ssqv and the apexi twin chamber are two of the best. budget wise, you can't beat a dsm bov.

But the DD means, dual chamber (=twin chamber) so I don't think it's a modified version of the SS, although I may be way off. I do know it kinda sounds like my friends SSQ... not quite as nice but I can hear the BOV switching chambers. And once... at band camp... I mean the other day I had a 10PSI peak (don't ask) it sounded way similar.

Can't argue with that. :D

if you want a really quick responding BOV that is loud as F### get the TURBO XS RFL. since i have went thru 3 different blow of valves, the RFL was the best responding. however i wanted a bypass valve so now i got a greddy type S. but the greddy type S has a slight delay. and is no where near as loud, and it flutters on low boost just like the HKS does. in my opinion, the HKS is crap. it response terrible to low boost, it surges like crazy. that is not the kind of blow off valve i want in my car. you really need to beat the car hard to get the SSQ to fully discharge. the only issue that i have with the RFL is that if not maintained properly, the piston will get stuck. but thats nothing that mothers alumium and mag polish can't fix.
