Tial 35mm Wastegate Problem

Are you talking about that metal ring that came with the wastegate? Don't use it. I left it off my Impreza 2.5 RS-T and ran like a champ.

Never had any experience with this, but if you can in fact leave it out places make exhaust sealant, you coudl use this as kind of a jimmy-rigged exhause gasket. I'd say just keep messing around with it, and once you get frustrated go to AutoZone and grab some of that and give it a whirl.

Ok, im having this same problem, is this always going to be like this or what? i cant stand that loud *** exhaust leak.

WOOOOOOOOOOOO i just like to beat mypipes with hammers if they make noise. CONAN DONT LIKE PIPE... actually make sure the flange is totally welded and maybe try getting a new wastegate if all else fails.. good luck
