I don't think I'm going to make it now. I fixed everything in my car that needed to be fixed, bought a helmet, and paid my hundred to get in and I get F'd over. Last night I was leaving a friends house like at 2 in the morning and I started my car to warm it up and heard a weird grinding sound that I never heard before. I shrugged it off, but as soon as i start heading doen the road, i'm ready to shift to first ans as i step on the clutch it makes a grinding/metal rubbing together noise. Then I noticed it did that everytime i pressed the clutch, let off the gas, and at rpm's lower than 3000. While I accelerate, averything seems fine. It also goes into every gear with no problem. But as it is the car is barely driveable, I'm afraid its gonna crap out on the side of the road or something. I'm so pissed right now, I've been waiting for sunday since the last one and now I get F'd and have a week to figure out the problem and fix it.

IDK. correct me if I'm wrong but, wouldn't it be making noises as I pressed the clutch pedal. But my noises occur during deceleration and at mid-low RPM's. If i press the clutch, no noise. If I rev past 2000-2500 it makes the noise as soon as I let off the gas for it to drop back down, even if its in neutral. but like I said only if my foots off the clutch.

I wanted to take one, but at this point IDK if I can go. I'd go film it anyways if I had another car, but right now the 240 is my only car.

But I'm not sure about the PP, I was thinking I might have to swap in a new transmission cause it is also hard to put the car into first at a complete stop. I've already got one lined up to buy. I have to get out to the track though, I really don't want to miss this for anything. I found a thread about this on Z ilvia someone had the exact same problem as I, and someone else experience this problem, and his problem was the input shaft bearing. Here's the link http://www.Z ilvia.com/f/showthread.php?t=129524&highlight=transmission+noise

Thanks for the support, I still want to go, I'll see if my girl's willing to make the drive out there if I don't get mine running. But I do have a transmission lined up in Santa Ana for 150 tonight. I just hope the dude doesn't give me a crappy one. He says it works but IDK.
