so here it is..

there is a drift event on july 1st, hosted by 626 arcadia meet guys

it is at the balcony (willowsprings)

its 100 bucks per car drifting and 10 dollars to get in per personyou need a helmet, it can either be DOT,SA,SNELL approved helmets

and i want a lot of you guys to go, cause at this meet there seems to be couple poser high school kids/ricers who think they can drift w/ a open diff/stock suspension, and i mean im not all that great but atleast i know how too drift..loland i want to have fun w/ the people i have fun w/ every thursday night at the track
Hey I wanna go, but I don't have a helmet, I'm sure thats the only thing I'd need. I'm working on getting the rest of my car complete to pass tech inspection. Anyone know where to get a helmet for cheap, or possibly rent one?

dude, I bought my helmet at autobacs for like 50 when they were on sale...

but anyways... I think they sell Bell helmets at walmart for like 70 bucks, and theyre dot approved, but I dont think theyre snell 2000 approved... it would be ok for drifting and autox'ing tho, i think

Pretty sure its full-faced. Wouldn't help if u had an open face helmet and ur face goes into ur Brand New Nardi steering wheel. Oh well atleast ull be rockin Nardi logo on ur face for awhile.

The reason u cant breaf is cuz u buy cheapo helmets, LOL.

Yeah I'll hook you guys up. Just let me know what all needs to be hooked up. Like security, door locks, remote start, back up batteries, ... whatever.

If I don't get one by July 1st, think I can still borrow it. $50 sounds good, but I figured I might as well get a Snell approved one since I thats what's required for comps.

No problem, its an extra helmet I have lying around. For Snell approved just put sticker, LOL. They mostly look for DOT approved.

Well its cause I want to compete in the Drift Buffet's and practices like for next season so I figured I'd get the helemt I need the first time rather than buying another when I need it. And they require Snell SA95 or better. Is a SA 2000 or 2005 better than that? What the order or Snell and DOT approvals?

I'm pretty sure its 95,2000,2005 from worst to best. Just use sticker! LOL...

That sticker idea sounds really good but I just don't wanna go a cheap route and have it bust in an accident. Then be rocking the Nardi imprint on my face. They require those for a certain reason right?
