Just started to get a wierd thumping/vibrating feel from the back of my versa. It feels like the back tires are flat(both have right amount of air in). I have no idea what it could be, will be bringing it into the dealer as it is only 1 month old. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem?????

Square tires? The cold'll do it. If the problem disappears after a k or 2 that's it.

Most people fill their tires more in the winter (since cold makes even air molecules pull together)

you may want to talk to your dealer about that... I don't remember what the winter pressure is that the dealership uses on the Camel...

You sure it isn't square tires? According to South Park, Canadian cars have square tires.

A little behind the times, my friend

Can you believe that SP is right? Fact is, when it gets cold enough for long enough, the bottom of a tire flattens due to the weight of the parked vehicle, and then freezes flat. Once you drive for a bit the tire warms up and "rounds out".

Someone else on here had an experience with their car shaking and wobbling really bad at highway speeds recently and it turned out to be ice frozen onto the inside of the wheels I believe. Maybe check that?

Almost everytime you experience shaking or wobbling, its caused by a wheel being out of balance somehow, whether it's from a flat spot on the tire (from locking up the brakes), throwing a weight, or something foreign being on the wheel/tire (ice, rock, etc).

I forgot to say that when I went on a trip the noise and roughness went away at highway speeds. Then it would start up again when I hit towns and had to go slower....That's what makes it even more confusing to me....
