thule roof rack

Has anyone installed a Thule roof rack on their Rogues? I would like to get one to transport a kayak but I am concerned with the weight and also where the clamps go under the doors if it scrapes the paint.

I looked on the Thule website and it appears they do not make a roof rack for the S model unless you have the oem roof rails. I did see one called Rhino-Rack. Does anyone have this rack for their Rogue S?

I have the thule roof rack system installed on my 2009 Rogue S....It will not scrape your paint at all, there's clearance under the fit kit.straight from the thule website

Your'll need the Thule fit kit #1587.
I have the thule Aerobar with length 53"
and i'm using the thule rapid traverse 480r foot pack.

I went on the Thule website and it said the kit is only for Rogues that have the roof rails?

I don't have the factory roof rails, its a normal/naked roof....

thats the 3 pieces you need from thule....

Okay I will check out those part #'s you gave me. Do you live in Canada? Just wondering what you paid with shipping and everything. Also any problems with the mounts pushing up on the door rubbers? Just don't want to have any leaks or wind noise from the doors.

I live in the states...these are very aerodynamic so not much wind noise. The rubber has good padding so yourr car won't be dented..it cost me $350. I got it from Ems.com. eastern mountain sport
