Is anybody else having problems with their thrust vector alignment?! I've had it re-aligned 3 times in 6 months, and then 6,000 miles later I'm pigeon toed again and wearing out the inside tread on my tires and getting a really annoying (and expensive) noise from the front end. It's a 2005 G35 Coupe.

The G35s are known to have feathering on the tires. There are two issues that cause this. One is the negative camber, the other is the toe/caster angle.

Are you getting this done at the dealership or an independent shop? I've seen a couple of independents who don't know how to deal with our suspension.

Independent shop. No Infiniti dealer around me. Will a Nissan dealership be able to do it? It's the same car as the 350Z (plus 6" in length and a different rear end)? I would rather not drive an hour and a half to do an alignment.

The Nissan dealership might be able to help you out. The G and Z share a lot in common.

According to the articles, the G is 6" longer and has a different rear end. We'll see...it goes in on Monday. I'm tired of buying tires because aren't doing the thrust vector right

Have you been getting a 2 or 4 wheel alignment?

All 4 wheels are adjustable on the Gs and Zs.
