Car specifics are always a good thing. also pics off old and new are helpful. Nissan did have a redesign on the bearings some time ago. You may have just recieved an updated part.

i called up nissan yesterday and they said something about that part was for some 96 and up cars depending on when i was manufactured. but mine used to be an auto and the trans is out of a 95. so would it make a difference. the old bearing is still in the car i dont want to drop the trans and then have to drive the sentra cause the 40 is down waiting for parts.

btw on the subject of throwout bearings.. what brand would you recommend? would you get the OEM one from courtesy or i found a Centerforce one as well which was about 10$ more.

Talk to Dan of Midway Auto parts. He's a NICO sponsor, but I'm not recommending Midway because of just sponsorship, they're in AZ so it's closer to you ie. gets to you faster, and Dan's usually got better prices than Courtesy.
