Hey guys. Swapping engines and doing a new clutch. My question is...the throwout bearing...how is it supposed to spin? I put a new one on and the whole bearing does not spin, only the inside of the bearing spins. Anyone know?

A few pics to explaine what i'm talking about. The bigger one is my new throwout bearing. They do not look like the same throwout bearing. But, will it still work? I really need to know this so I can bolt up my transmission and get my engine inside the car already. Thanks in advance.

Where the hell did you get that crap?Of course they arent the same bearing, you know that by looking at 'em. Go return them and get a professional, knowledgable shop to get you the right one.

Yes, as you noticed, that is a correct replacement bearing. Diferent design from a different manufacturer. I have the same one and it works .. dandy.
