So i bought a clutch kit here is the link, http://www.frsport.com/SPEC-SN333-Clutc ... 13708.html and i noticed that the new bearing is different from the stock s13 one.

On the stock bearing the release sleeve sits flush with the bearing face when pressed in, and the outer part of the bearing moves independent from the release sleeve. On the new bearing the release sleeve sticks out a good 1/8th of an inch from the face of the bearing when pressed in, and the bearing and release sleeve move in unison, instead of independently of one another. There is an inner part of the bearing that you can see in the pictures on frsport that moves independently, its the middle ring in the picture that kind of looks curled over i don't know how to accurately describe it hopefully you can see what i am talking about.

So i am just wondering if this bearing is specific to the clutch i bought or if its for the s14, and if this all is ok? sure doesn't seem like it but i'm not positive. i cant use the stock bearing anymore because when i was knocking the release sleeve out of it the race of the bearing got messed up and i might as well get a new one while i have the transmission away from the motor. hopefully i put enough info in here for you all to understand! help please!

ok i was doing the same research a few days ago and found that that 1/8 lip on the tob are sr20det specific. The KA24DE tob's i've seen don't have the lip. But supposedly the 1995 ka24de tob will work. They sure don't look the same as the jdm tob for the sr20det. I found one with the lip on it and bought it. $34 on ebay free ship. Even in the video you can see they used a tob with that lip.
