On my '04 350z, I have been hearing a very noticable ball bearing spinning sound coming from under my car any time I am in gear and de-accelerating. If I am in gear and accelerating, or out of gear, it doesn't make the sound.

I never noticed this sound from my G35, the only similar sound I've ever heard from the G was when i am sitting in the garage without the clutch depressed. As soon as I press the clutch, the sound goes away in the G.

Anyone know what this could be?

Also is it a stock flywheel? The lightened flywheels do tend to "chatter" a little bit.

Yep stock flywheel. I bought the car w/36,000 miles on it, and the transmission looks like it was replaced very recently.Maybe I should take it in to the dealership.
