argh...

yah. It is either that or another bearing on the shaft. IT making a light reciprocating sound when the clutch is not pressed and when you press on it it goes away... I wonder how long I can go. If I go long could pre-mature bearing failure cause massive shaft damage?

I have no time to do this job, so I am gonna take it to a Transmission shop. Anyone know the possible price of one of these? I mean I know it will be a lot so I mine as well replace the clutch while I am at it. Maybe I will put a Gen5 in there... har har...

It's possible to cause some major damage but I've never experienced anything like it so I can't really offer you any solid advice.

Throw out bearing runs under $10 from the dealer but labor installing it will kill you because they have to drop the tranmission. I would figure 250-500 for labor.

Its a possibility its an input shaft bearing but unlikely.
