Hey Guys, ive got a problem and usually i can find an answer on the site but i havent been able to this time. I have a RB20DET and I put in a Competition Clutch stage 4 Clutch Kit (6045-1620) and a Competition Clutch 4140 forged lightweight flywheel using the supplied throwout bearing and pilot bearing. I also replaced the pivot ball because it was broken with a RawBrokerage heavy duty pivot ball. Now that its all assembled the throwout bearing is touching the pressure plate and i think i need a shorter throwout bearing carrier. Ive read online and found all different part numbers but im not sure which one to use. Was wondering if anyone has had this issue and if you can give me a part number or an overall length of a carrier to look for. I also emailed the guys at Competition Clutch to see if they have any recomendations. Thanks in advance for any help!!

I'm assuming you're using a RB20 transmission. Which of our pivot ball units did you end up using?

The carrier should be the same as a KA if I recall correctly.

Yea it is the RB20 trans. I used the Raw Brokerage Chromoly Clutch Pivot Ball - RB25 RB26. Will that not work with a RB20? I guess i assumed it would but maybe that is the issue?
