My car threw a code of P0325, which is a knock sensor malfunction. I checked the resistance on the sensor and its 3.83. I read that its supposed to be between 5 and 6.5 ohms. What does this sensor affect? Does it require immediate replacement?

Not immediate replacement, but your performance and mileage will go way down. When the sensor is malfunctioning, to counteract any problems that could arise, the ECU retards the timing a lot.
