Hi,
I own/or am owned by a 2001 3.3l v6 Frontier ;) Needs to get inspected and ran my OBDII to make sure I wasn't throwing any codes....yeahhhh...well, 1st sensor to replace was a knock sensor....replaced that and relocated it....then threw code for EVAP purge valve sensor...replaced that....then threw crankshaft position sensor code....after 2 hours of hell trying to find THAT ONE! replaced it, found out there was nothing wrong with the original.. Now don't get me wrong, I love my truck! I just hate that it seems to be falling apart on me. Has 185,000 on it and I know crap starts falling apart, but damn! Dont' have the money to take to a mechanic, so my boyfriend (who despises her at this point!) does his best to replace what needs to be replaced.

Sorry to run on, MY ? IS: Does anyone else have this problem with their truck, about this age and could it be a ground or maybe my computer that's causing all these codes to throw when there's really nothing wrong with the sensors??? I am so frustrated at this point and I'm out a month on inspection...

Thanks for reading & replying,
Deb

In the Long Run,, sometime's it is Cheaper to just take it in to Nissan and let them diagnose it.

If you have more than one Dealer,, then check out which is best for Service.

Talking with the Service Manager, beforehand, can indicate how you will be treated.

Good Luck

Thanks BRubble, but that's not an option at this point. Lack of funds in this day and time make it nearly impossible to do the dealer route. But thank you anyway for the input. Was just hoping someone in this forum had experienced this problem before and had an idea as to what might be happening other than my truck falling apart. have a good one

Here is a link to the 2001 Service Manual, in case you don't have one:
