Well guys, idk what it can be...W.O.T. the rb spits bad. just dont know what to do anymore...If i back off throttle slightly it goes away :/
im getting 110mi. to the tank, replaced oe coilpacks with ls2 coils.
nismo adjustable fpr set at 40psi with vacuum line disconnected.
replaced tps set it accordingly
Made sure it is grounded everywhere
replaced and gapped sparkplugs
replaced 02 sensor

rb25det S1 stock
stock turbo
3" exhaust
walbro fp
nismo fpr
cx intercooler
koyo rad
autometer gauges
dss driveshaft
syko motor and transmission mounts

Should i throw in the towel and shove it to a nissan dealer??? :cry:

Did you do a boost leak test on your system? kinda sounds like your getting unmetered air into the motor and the computer is freaking out.

could also be a bad/wrong maf...pull codes and see what it says.

i cannot pull codes, no led...But im gonna go through the piping once more. this is getting old but f*** i love this car.
Nissan Dealer was actually curious and wants to look at but im holding off
yeah tried getting on it a little threw huge fire ball last night. Its gotta be something stupid

If the consult port is wired up they should be able to pull the codes for you if you don't have a PC and cable to do it with.

I don't see mention of the CAS/timing being verified or adjusted

^^Recheck base timing, I have heard going from oem coils to LS coils throws it off.

well i just pulled engine and trans, im completely going threw the entire assembly. Checking for leaks,installing freddy intake,q45 tb, cleaning her up. Clutch started slipping so had to do so...
I will recheck timing, see if it helps wish me luck.

negative stayed right at 7psi all day. I tell ya this Rb25 is great when it runs good lol. Ive never driven anything like it. Puts a smile on my face even with all its problems

I dont think he meant mechanical timing but the ignition timing.

I've experienced a lot of timing variations using the stock harness and PTU/Coil loop including double-readings, being off, etc.

Because of this, I made a spark plug wire to fit in between the spark plug and the coil pack (just unbolt it) for the timing pickup. The LS coils make it so much easier due to having that wire already in place

I did the same thing to check timing.. lots of fluctuation when using the loop

Imo LS coil pack conversion is the way to go. Many benefits, easier to check timing,parts are cheap, readly available, easy wiring
