I have a 06 Base Z and I hear what I would call the classic TO bearing rattle when it is cold idling. Push in the clutch and it goes away. Release the clutch and it comes back. Not yet 1500 miles on the car and was wondering if this is common? Seems like the answer should be no on a car this new. Comments?Lew3.5

It;s not the TO bearing. It's the dual-mass flywheel. While not everyone gets the sound, it does not indicate a problem. These noises are somewhat typical of dual-mass flywheels. And TO bearings do not rattle when worn. They sound like running water.
