I drive a 93 hatchback with the ka24de motor. Im in the middle of replacing my clutch with a centerforce dual-friction. I Pulled the exhaust, driveshaft, and starter off. I Slid the transmission out, removed pressure plate and clutch, installed new clutch and pressure plate using the alignment tool. Everything went fine until i got the transmission all bolted up, and went to install the slave cylinder. The clutch fork arm slid out of the clips on the bearing collar while bleeding the cylinder!!! so out with all the bell housing bolts and transmission once more, secured the fork arm in the clips firmly, and worked the transmission BACK in and bolted up. Once again, the fork arms slips off during bleeding! Is there any specific method to keeping that damn fork arm in the clips? i have to drop the transmission yet another time to try and fix and dont know what to do about it! I need help as soon as possible!!!

im not absolutely positive its in the right spot, but i really dont see any other way for it to go. Theres grease on the shaft and inside the collar, but not on the contact points.

you might need a new clip cause when you swap in a new clutch that is recommended to be changed. I didn't change it though. Make sure the clip is tight on the clutch fork
