throttle sensor?

anyone ever replace the throttle sensor..i think thats wut it is, its located rite near the intake manifold on the s13 SOHC engine. my car seems to go up and down on the RPM's and today it went up like crazzzy at like 6k and didnt go down till i shut the car off..anyways anyone do this before? is there alot work to it? thnks guys!

throttle sensor do not adjust your idle (to control your RPM).

from you symtoms, extremem high rpm (6k?!), check your air duct(or your intake, from your MAF to throttle body) for leak. Also check AAC valve, oxygen sensor and FICD solenoid.
