throttle position sensor??

ok i'm having trouble with my 350z. sometimes for some reason it justs kicks into a safe mode and won't go over 1500 rpms. the code p1229 kept comin up which is my sensor power supply, does anyone know anything about this??

Lookslike it has to do more with the accelerator pedal position sensor. However, the FSM's flowchart indicates that there are some other systems that may also cause that code to be triggered.

Find your FSM at http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM and download the EC portion. Go to the section with the code you have and it will have the troubleshooting flow chart. Should guide you through it.

Of course if your car is still under warranty, have the dealer take care of it...
