I have mad rich fuel mixture problem going on. So I was checking out various sensors and came across this. According to FSM, TPS should have 2K ohms when gas pedal is released and 10k ohms when gas pedal was pressed completely.

When I tested, it was opposite of FSM values. When gas pedal was release TPS had 9.45k ohms and when gas pedal was pressed TPS had 1.16k ohms.

Why is this happening? Someone at freshalloy told me that FSM is wrong and now I am confused.

The FSM is correct, someone at FA is retarded.

Test with a known good TPS, I'm thinking yours has finally gone the way of the dodo.
