So I was going to be posting about some new stuff I've done to my coupe but instead I have this issue. Here is my problem.
My coupe starts up fine but has basically no response when I step on the gas pedal. I can have it floored and it won't rev past 2k. I pulled two codes on my scan gauge p2123 and p2138 both are throttle position codes I believe from what I researched. I have cleaned the connections on the gas pedal and on the throttle body with nothing helping. Oh and obviously disconnected the battery and let it sit for over an hour. Also when I clear the codes they just come right back without the ses light even going off. Also have the ses, vdc off, slip and emergency light all on. Ses light comes on first right at start up and then followed by vdc and slip. I am having it towed to the dealership on Monday to see what the issue is so we will see.

I was wondering if anyone else has had any kind of similar issues or has any insight? Also can I assume that this will be covered under warranty car was purchased in Jan of 2011 and has just over 30,000 miles on it. Thanks in advance for any help.

You're still bumper to bumper warranted. As long as you don't have anything extensive modification-wise, they should get you fixed up without protest. Good luck and come back and let us know what they say!

I have seen a couple other threads with similar problems but nothing that is what I am particularly having issues with. On another note just dropped my car off at the dealership about an hour ago and already the service representative was already telling me that if they find it was something I caused then I would be responsible for the cost. He was concerned about my phone charger, aux cable and radar detector power cable that I ran behind the head unit which I just kinda laughed at. Anyway I'll see in a coupe of hours what the issue is and if I have to put up a fight or not with the dealership.

Well, so far this has been an unpleasant experience and after 2 and a half days at the dealership they cannot give me a definitive answer as to what is wrong with my car. They are saying that it is throwing a bunch of codes and they don't know why or what is wrong, also they apparently have a Nissan tech that has been there for 20 years and never seen this before. Now even though they do not know what the problem is they are trying to say that I have somehow caused it and that I have voided my warranty, even though they don't know what the issue is yet. The dealership has also not called and said they are trying to fix any of the codes the car is throwing they just keep "searching" for the issue but I feel as if they are searching for a way to show that I have caused the issues with the car. All and all it has been a pretty terrible experience thus far and its not over yet.

I was wondering what options I have available to me if any at this point, with my car at the dealership I feel I am at there mercy.
