Just got my Coupe back from service - I was getting a Check Engine Light, and the code was related to the Throttle Position Sensor.

The TPS voltage checked out OK, so I was stumped. No vacuum leak, no cable binding.

My Service Advisor (Dawn, who you've heard of before), found that there was an issue with a batch of the early G35's - The throttle plate "hangs up" and prevents smooth acceleration (and throws a CEL). Mine was the opposite - the throttle plate was actually hanging open.

All fixed now, thanks to Dawn and her "persuasive personality".

Anyone else seen this issue?
