Throttle cable with sr braket

What year of 240 has the longest throttle cable??I would like to use the throttle cable bracket that came with my s13 engine..Iv been using a custom made thing,and i just what to use the stock piece..I have the stock throttle cable in it now (92 240sx DOHC KA) and its to short..Will i have better luck with a SOHC cable or a s14 cable..??I have a JDM cable to,but im sure that one's to short to..

im using a 91 throttle cable and its just rite. dunno why urs is shorter

my s14 cable works fine with my s14 sr, idk if itll work as good on the s13 bc of the difference in throttle body location

And your using the stock sr20 bracket??And the cable fits??

That's weird i have a 92 dohc cable and it's too long....

Would it make a differents if im using a JDM gas pedal..?

My 90' SOHC cable just makes it....

somehow my sr bracket broke completely in half a few weeks ago

there is a stopper behind the gas pedal....bend it down just a hair and you'll have the length you need.

Ok,So all years of 240's work then??I think im going to find a SOHC cable.And see if it works.Since i know the one on my car now wont fit..S14 cables sould be a the same size as the DOHC s13 right?

same motor so i would think they are the same

I checked and Nissan has a different part # for SOHC,DOHC s13/DOHC s14 throttle cable's so they are different..Just not sure how..I checked and the s13 dohc and the s14 dohc cables are the same lenth,But look alittle different..Just small things..Im going to buy a sohc cable next week to see if its longer or shorter then the dohc..

if you got a friend in the metal industry they can probbaly make you a cable

my 91 throttle cable is long but short at the throttle bracket, i just modified my KA throttle bracket and so far it seems to be holding pretty good..
