Throttle cable too short

i have a '91 240sx that i put my ca into and the throttle cable is too short by like an inch or two. what's up with this? are there any inexpensive ways to get it to reach or get a new one?

Dremel tool... strip the black covering back exactly how far you need it... slide nut section to the end to get it out of the way, dremel off the spiral metal pieces but DO NOT cut the actualy cable, then slide the nut section securly back, tighten on the ca throttle cable bracket, and give it hell :)

Get a 89-90 throttle cable, perfect fit.

89/90 cable would be the best/safest/easiest I think.
