throttle cable

ok finishing up my SR finally, i just have a quick question. the throttle cable tension plate when i have my cable on there my TB is cracked open. what can i do to fix that

Is the nut adustment all the way loose? If not just adjust it. Or maybe the plate is slightly bent.

yeah i moved the nut both ways and it just stays open. i may have bent it with the chain when i put it in. anyone no where i can get an unbent one? i dont want to try to bend it back and mess it up more.

YOu can use a S14 bracket (or atleast I did) with minor modification.

i got a a small maybe 3x3 peice of sheet metal and bolted it in place after mine broke..with a lug wrench i was able to bend it to work

that was at the track my first race day in april and its been perfect sicne
