throttle cable

hey i already searched and got mixed opinions, but i need to know whether or not the kae throttle cable will work with a kade. somepeople say no, some say yes but its a tight fit, but i need to know for sure.

replacing a throttle cable is easy and usually can be ordered quickly or found in a junkyard. Just wait untill you have the motor in place on its mounts and then run ur stock KAe cable to the DE TB and see if it works, if it doesnt then start calling junkyards. thats the best i can do.~Sam

bump, more input cuz im having similar problem... kade in kae car, seems to be alot of slack left over, do i just need to tighten some how or get another cable...searched so no baggin plz.

The throttle cable needs to be changed. The SOHC cable is shorter and doesn't have enough travel. I have heard that people have stretched it across the engine. Maybe it can be done, but it will probably look like crap.

mine is sohc to dohc swap, so i have the sohc cable and its too long...or am i just not tightenin it up enough?? its layin across the valve cover and still not tight so what am i to do??
