Does anyone have a picture of what the throttle cable linkage looks like on the back of a 71 521 truck? I took it apart to make the accelerator work more smoothly and can't seem to get it back together correctly.

Thanks for the response - I just found this site and am pretty much addicted.
The carb is stock - but I think I got it back together correctly - I found a picture of it on the 620 user sight - I was able to download a 890 page parts catalogue for 521 trucks - it showed an exploded view of the carb and the cable linkage.
So, I think I've got it from here.

Yep - I'm now in the process of modifying the steel plate that holds the accelerator cable adjuster in place because I cut the tip off the cable and used a mahined - adjustable cable tip that I had in my bike parts box.
The problem is that the cable went from being stretched to short - but - it'll come together pretty quickly now.
