throttle cable help

for some reason my stock ka24de throttle line is not long enough to reach the throttle body on my rb20det i have not seen people posting any thing related to this how can i make this work all suggestion are always greatly appreciated thank you.

Weld a flat piece of metal to the bracket to extend it 2-3 inches. Then drill two holes in it and walah! Thats what I did...
