I've been staring at my engine for a week trying how to finish bypassing the hoses. I am left with 5 connections in the rear of the engine, 3 from passenger, one from driver side , and 1 from center. One also coming from front of vehicle. I've done plenty of reading online but all instructions are for the twin turbo which differ from the non turbo. Also underneath the plenum where the hoses used to go do they need to be sawed off?Can anyone help.

This are the driver side ones.... You can see the center one on the left of pic...

This is the Center one...

These are the passenger side ones...Rubber ones i believe would connect together

and the front of car one...

So far one the passenger side one of the connections would go to the EGR solenoid the other two i don't know. The driver side one would connect to the center one. The front one seems to be vacuum so maybe balance tube? I can't be 100% sure so that's why i need help. Thanks.

On the heater pipes at the back of the engine, just join the 2 small pipes together on each pipe with a piece of hose and connect the 2 large hoses back to the heater core pipes on the fire wall. This completes the coolant circuit and now the plenum/TB's are no longer a part of this system. You can cut the nipples off under the plenum and TB's if you want, but it has no effect on anything any longer. As far as the vacuum hoses go, likely the one on the PS is the EGR that connects to a pipe under the plenum that goes to the TB and the one on the DS is the PRVR that connects to the plenum side and your last photo is Carbon Canister line that connects to the pipe under the TB area of the plenum piping. ALWAYS make notes and take photos when tearing something down.

I see you have the upper cam covers off. Make sure you remove the lower ones and reseal them with RTV. Those are the ones that always leak, not the top ones.
