so i've searched and read that the KA throttle body works on the CA. now, my question is, which one? the KA24E, or the KA24DE, both? and also, will i need to change any wiring? and will i need to re-tune anything? any help would be great.

Either t/b should work. If you run into problems with the throttle linkages, you can just swap them out with your existing linkages. On mine, I swapped out the throttle linkage as well as the tps.

I used the t/b off a '91 Stanza w/KA24E but mine is a non-turbo CA with the old style intake manifold like on the Pulsars.

Check out the bottom of THIS page. Better hurry, I downgraded my account so bandwidth limit will hit pretty fast.

i got 1, maybe 2, KA24DE throttle bodies if you wanna buy one for cheap. it is definately bigger than the CA one. the only reason i'm not using one is cuz i got a skyline one. let me know if you're interested.

what size is your skyline TB? Was it relatively bolt-on?

The KA24E doesn't work quite right. It will bolt up, but there are some vacuum hoses and a coolant hose that you'll have to plug off. The Bolts right up, but you'll want to port the manifold out a little bit to make it work well.

i say screw it and go for a 4-throttle system. you could probably scavenge some off a big bike, like a gsx 1300r, cbr 929rr, zx-12r or r1. just an idea...would want a new intake manifold to go with them though im guessing... but that would look so cool, wouldnt it? otherwise, you could just port and polish the bajeesus out of the one youve got..

ITBs of a 20v 4age....I think Im gonna chop off the stock flange and put a Stang Acufab on it for sh*ts and Giggles. You can always do a 90mm q45.

or make one out of a sewer pipe while we're at it. you can never have too big of a throttle body!

With the Q TB, you WILL have to port the manifold to make it worth doing. So plan on pulling the mani...

You will need to have the manifold heavily modified or have one custom made. No real use for a massive T/body unless you are running big/efficient boost. Mine is 73mm and that's all my engine needs. Anything bigger is just for show and bling.....

I have my kade body all cleaned and ready... after look at it i figured out u have to cut one of the vacuum line nipples to get it to clear the intake manifold, no bigged just take what u cut off and hook the 2 hoses together using it because its just a piece hanging on the tb. And take the sensor on the ca tb and replace the ka one with it so that the wires match right up. Just got my intake manifold off tonight and im going to dremmel it out to match tommarow then put it all back on.
