How hard is it to clean the throttle body of a 97 pathfinder?

very easy just get some throttle body cleaner.

remove the pipe that goes from your intake manifold to your airboxstart up your whip there should be a little lever that will simulate the gas pedal. if you have cruise control there will be 2 levers.Now right where you removed the pipe just spray the cleaner when you open the whole up with the pedal or lever if you havent done this beofre it'll probably be black in there.

ohhh so that how you clean it. My mechanic didn't charge me anything to clean mine. it gave me about 20 hp more. and it idled higher.

Oh ok that seems pretty easy. It really gave you 20 more horsepower fisherdude??? If thats true, im doin mine tomorrow!

yeah at least. and over my car ran like total crap until that thing was cleaned. The K&n air filter is horrible for letting in too much s***.

funny cause im in the process of doing this as we speak...well kinda my friend accidently dropped a bolt down the manifold im waiting on a ghetto home made magnetic fishing rod to pull it back out

I cleaned out my TB on my 02 R50 and my RPM at idle is a bit higher then before
