hey wats the size of a ca throttle body compared to the ka upgrade? thanks.

im pretty sure the CA T/B is 55mm, i don't know about the KA T/B

I think the KA TB is 5 or 10mm larger. I'm gonna go with 5mm larger. I think the CA TB is 60mm and the KA is 65, but don't quote me on it.

The CA is ~52mm and the KA is 60mm. Now, that is at the opening. They taper down by like 3-4mm at the manifold to accelerate the intake charge (much like the runners of a manifold). I have seen a company that will port the TB up to a full 60mm, but you will have to search around for the thread on that.

I run a KA24E TB if you care. You will have to flip it upside down and port the intake manifold.

sweet thanks guys, the throttle body i hav here is 65mm and the opening and about 59mm at the manifold end, i was told is was a ka24 throttle body, wats the difference between ka24de and ka24e? thanks
