I had a 99 GT Steeda Mustang before I had my G and I replaced my throttle body and noticed a good difference coupled with my air intake/exhaust mods. I have not heard too many people getting larger throttle bodys on Gs' ( I could be wrong). With air intake mods (more air intake), wouldn’t you want a larger throttle body (more fuel)? If you have a greater air intake wouldn’t you want greater fuel intake (more fuel more air together = more HP)? right? I've been thinking about trying to find a larger throttle body for my NA 06 coupe. Do you guys think it will be worth it with the current mods I already have (see below for my mods, soon to have HFCs too).

Oh and i've been looking into headers. What headers would you guys suggest? (stillen dc crawford..ex) I'm also trying to decied on HFCs suggests on those too...thinking crawford or stillen.

I've heard of people using a TB from the Q45 but I haven't done it myself. It is something that I would be interested in doing though since I've already done the other intake and exhaust mods besides the HFC's.

How would you do this with a drive by wire setup?

Even if you were to up the size of the TB, you would need to replace your intake manifold with something that has a larger port. Since the G's manifold has a port that is the same size as the TB, you would bottleneck the air at the manifold, and gain nothing.

USAF_G35_GUY has done this IIRC. Someone here has for sure. I think it was USAF. He replaced the TB and the intake manifold. I wish I could remember for sure who it was...

both stillen and crawford are equal length headers. so for n/a cars you will squeeze out a few more hp then the dc. but they are a tad harder to install and if you get a shop to put them on they will charge a lil more to install.
