throttle body sticking closed ???

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

ok i thought i had fixed this problem but apparently not ive cleaned the TB many times . but after its warmed up and i come to a stop or i let off the throttle it stick in that position and i have to press hard to get it to move again .. ive already rules out the throttle cable cause i can unstick under the hood by manually opening the throttle can anybody help

buy my throttle body and then there will be no more worries.... you know you want to..

wow shameless self promo.... ftl

anywho you may want to try the adjustiing the throttle blade itsef. Look in and see if its touching the bore of the t/b... should be so close but not really...

I've had this problem ever since the lower adjusting screw for the hammer fell out. it allows the throttle to close too far causing the flange to touch the housing... and you know what happens to metal when it gets hot...

check to see if that little black 1mm allen screw is still there. It should be where the throttle dog hit's the idle stop bar. The screw is for adjusting the idle.

yeah its still there ive been working so haven't had time to get on line lately. i think its the main bar the butterfly is connected too so im going to take it off ,lube it up
