Throttle body relearn

2006 M35
Replacing the Valve Cover gaskets, et al. ...

Will the removal of the connector to the throttle body motor at the plenum, require the "relearn process" on reassembly?

Not if you disconnect it and perform the repairs with the ignition off. Cycling the key won't make it forget the MAF calibration, but it will cause codes that will affect things like the LTFT and may cause crappy performance until the ECM relearns what it forgot.
