I know the tps sensor is suppose to be adjusted to 0.4-0.5 volts but what about the plate?? I have a q45 TB on a isis style manifold....

Im not sure if the plate is suppose to be all the way closed(engine breathing through the IACV) or if its suppose to be cracked a little?? And if its suppose to be cracked a little...what is a little?

Thanks

as far as i know, plate closed. IACV should control idle.

I remember reading in the sr manual that there is a specific adjustment for the throttleplate. Either way you shouldn't have to touch it from the factory. If your having idling issues its because of something else not the TB

well even if im wrong, worst case scenario is the car wont idle. so just give it a small crack if its struggling BUT it shouldnt NEED to be open to idle.

the IACV should take 100% control of the idle.
