THROTTLE BODY ON 80 720
I looked over my truck today and I see that I have throttle body not carb is this factory?

Well then it looks as if it has spacer as well I will try and get a picture of it up for you guys

I thought the 1980 model came with either an L20B or a Z20 4 plug.

According to wakopedia, the L20B switched to fuel injection in 1977 outside of the US. So it tends to relate that the engine is from a 200 sx import and swapped into his truck.PEZi720 wrote:well he has an L series in it... so if it has a throttle body this sounds like a custom deal

Yeah. Probably thought it was an upgrade as it was fuel injected.

pics please!!!i want to do a swap on my truck and just cant decide what......i want sumthing different...im thinkin a low boost l20b..hmmm idk i dont want a ka though...if i can get sumthin else with a throttle body that would be sweet!!

Anything with a throttle body is tough to convert to the truck. There's high pressure (35 psi and above) fuel pump to install, the wiring the contend with as well as mounting brackets to fab, instruments to change to suit your choise, among a lot of small things.
