Throttle body leak??

So I got a chance to go work on my pile some more and did some pressure testing. Found my BOV was leaking at the flange. Fixed that, then I found the next leak at my throttle body. Sent away for a new gasket got to love cometic gaskets! $3 for that sucker vs $15 for the OEM one. well I pulled the TB off put some RTV around it and see what happened. Still leaking but not as bad as before but I did spy a leak coming from the shaft. Anyone else test there system and find a leak at the shaft?

my TB is leaking there too. Its minimal but i can hear a change in idle when play with the shaft

Pretty common IMO, seems to pop up regularly. I got lucky and mine does not leak. There is no fix for it.

Either get a different T/B or tune around it best as you can!

I have the same exact problem. I have tried 3 different Q45 TBs and they all the leak from the same place on the shaft.

You know what blows! I had a extra intake manifold with the throttle body and I tossed it the trash while I was cleaning up over the summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! arggggg.
