Throttle body interchangable?

i have a '96 s14 throttle body laying around that i cleaned up a little, and was wondering if i could do anything with it. my engine is a s14 longblock and head with s13 manifolds, and my main concern is will the throttle body work with OBD I, or will i have to use the throttle position sensor from my current motor?

anyway, what can i do with this extra throttle body in the way of porting it and maybe polishing the inside to make it smooth? would i just be better off buying a bigger throttle body? would it make a difference in throttle response? i know it wont net very many ponies, but my car feels a little sluggish, and i'm just trying to up the ante.

i'm bored and i feel like doing something constructive.

should i port it? smooth it? just rip my TB thats in the car and clean/polish it? someone's gottta know!
