So i heard from a civic owner that by unhooking the coolant lines from the throttle body increases horse power, thought it was a load of crap.... just wondering if it does work or if it can be damaging to the throttle body. I need the expert opinion of you other nissan owners.

I did it on my 92 prelude, and had a dyno proven 4whp.
I did it on my spec and I noticed the intake is a little louder, but I couldn't feel a difference, maybe a tad more responsive but that's pushing the envelope. If you live in a warm climate it won't hurt your car at all.

I don't know about the newer Sentras, but on the older ones, the coolant lines are there to heat the TB warm enough to keep sludge from building up. Remove them, and you have to clean the TB at least once a year.
